Columbia, SC (WLTX) - Darius Rucker is coming back to Columbia--this time to play the Colonial Life Arena.
Monday, Rucker announced he'd bring his "True Believers Tour" to the venue on February 21st. He'll be joined by the Eli Young Band and David Nail.
Rucker, of course, first shot to stardom as the lead singer of "Hootie and the Blowfish," a group of USC students who formed their own band here in Columbia, then became platinum-selling artists. In recent years, Rucker has become a top country artist, including this year's hit single, "Wagon Wheel."
Tickets go on sale December 6th. For more information, visit the Colonial Life Arena website.
