Columbia, SC (WLTX) - While Thanksgiving is a time of coming together to be with family, it's also become another tradition--holiday sales.

For years, those deals have been known as "Black Friday," but in some ways, that name no longer applies, as several major retailers plan to be open on Thanksgiving Day.
