Columbia, SC (WLTX) - A Columbia road that had been closed because of a sinkhole has reopened.

The sinkhole was located near the intersection of Lorick Avenue and Colonial Drive.

Columbia Police tell us a school bus with four students from Columbia High school were on board and crashed into that sinkhole. They say the students were uninjured, and were transported to school by another bus.

Columbia Water Works tells News 19's Michelle Frizalone at the scene the sinkhole opened up after the freezing temperatures caused a water main break.

Crews worked for several hours to repair the problem.
