Columbia, SC (WLTX) - An attempted murder suspect wanted in Richland County has been arrested in Aiken County.

Richland County Sheriff Leon Lott says 23-year-old James Galloway was arrested Thursday afternoon. Galloway faces two counts of attempted murder.

Earlier in the day, deputies say Galloway shot two men during a domestic dispute at a home on Broad River Road. According to officers, Galloway got into an argument with his estranged girlfriend. The two victims attempted to step in and help, but deputies say Galloway fired at them when they did.

The victims were both taken to the hospital, and their wounds are described as "serious."

Officers say witnesses and family members led them to the Aiken County home of one of Galloway's relatives, where they found the suspect.
