Deputies: Cash, Guns, $30,000 in Drugs Found at Home

Lexington County, SC (WLTX) - Lexington County deputies say they seized a large amount of drugs and arrested two people at a home in Swansea Tuesday.

Officers took 34-year-old Rashawn Stafford Gatson and 27-year-old Tyvona Latrice Toland into custody on charges of trafficking in cocaine, possessing crack cocaine, possessing a weapon during the commission of a violent crime, and possessing a firearm that had been reported stolen.

Deputies say the two are dating.

According to deputies, they went to the Gatson's home on Swansea Road around 3:30 p.m. Tuesday to execute a search warrant concerning the treatment of dogs that Gatson owns. However, once iside the home, deputies say they found cocaine, crack, drugs, guns, and ammo.

Deputies then got a separate warrant to search the home. In total, deputies say they recovered $30,000 in cocaine, $25,000 in cash, and eight firearms.
