Columbia, SC (WLTX) -- Thursday morning Columbia fire crews were called out to a fire at a commercial operation on Old Dairy Drive in south-east Columbia.

Just off Bluff Road at 1405 Old Dairy Drive, Tencarva Machinery operates selling industrial pumps and industrial material handling equipment.

CFD crews were called out just after 7:00AM for reports of smoke seen at the facility.

Columbia Fire Spokesman Brick Lewis reports that when crews arrived, heavy smoke was visible, but firefighters report it was contained quickly. No injuries were reported.

Richland County Fire Marshals' Office determined that the cause was due to a mechanical malfunction in or around the vicinity of a bathroom exhaust fan. Damages are estimated at $200,000.
