USC Baseball Picked to Finish 3rd in SEC East

Columbia, SC (WLTX) - The Gamecock baseball team has been picked to finish 3rd in the SEC East by the coaches in the 2013 Preseason poll.

The survey was released Tuesday.

USC is coming off three straight seasons of making the College World Series finals, with two National Championships to show for their effort. Last year the Gamecocks won the SEC East.

Alabama was picked to win the Western Division and the overall conference title.

USC's 2013 baseball season begins Friday against Liberty at Carolina Stadium.
