Clemson, SC (WLTX) -- Clemson fans will have to pay $50 more for season tickets starting with the 2013 season.

IPTAY announced  Monday what they call "adjustments" to the per seat donation required for priority seating at Memorial Stadium.

IPTAY requires season ticket holders to pay a "per seat donation" for each season ticket.

Starting in the 2013 season, those requirements will go up $50. The amount paid depends on the location of the seat. Next season the fees will range from $120 to $750 per seat.

A release from Clemson's athletics department says the donations are needed to "help Clemson reach highly competitive and academic goals. Continuing to maximize the strength of Clemson Athletics and IPTAY is critical to the Clemson Athletic program because IPTAY's mission to provide for the educational expenses of all its student-athletes, the operations and maintenance of Vickery Hall and the operations of IPTAY, and to assist the Athletic department of specific funding requests."
