Columbia, SC (WLTX) - USC women's basketball coach Dawn Staley released her team's schedule for the upcoming season Tuesday.

The team's first official game (following an exhibition contest against North Greenville) will be Friday, November 8th when they take on Charleston Southern in Columbia.

Some of the highlights of their non-conference schedule include a meeting with Clemson November 20th and a trip to Los Angeles to take on "the other USC" (Southern Cal) November 25th.

On January 2nd, they begin SEC play against Arkansas. They conclude the regular season on March 2nd at Tennessee. The SEC Women's Basketball Tournament starts three days later.

The team also announced Tuesday that they're starting a "Drive for 5K" this season, a season-ticket campaign to bring 5,000 fans to every game. (The "five" comes from Staley's jersey number as a player.) The school says that in the last two years, the team has gone from 43rd in the attendance nationally to 26th, averaging 4,000 fans a game.

Season tickets are $50 for a reserved seat or $100
for a Family Four-Pack of four general admission tickets. Visit
