Lexington, SC (WLTX) --- It was a season of firsts for the White Knoll football program which won its first playoff game in history and followed that up with its second such victory.

A big reason for the Timberwolves' success was defensive back Malcolm Ford, who according to defensive coordinator Mark Bonnette, is usually assigned to cover the opposing team's best receiver.

Malcolm is one of those athletes who prepares for a game as much as he prepares for a test. Head coach Gordon Walters says Malcolm's presence on the team as an example for others to follow was invaluable.

Malcolm is undecided about where he wants to attend college. He does know he wants to major in physical therapy and pursue a minor degree in business with the goal of one day owning his own practice.
