Carter's late score helps Kings edge Oilers

Edmonton, AB (Sports Network) - Jeff Carter scored the game winner with 49.47 seconds to play as the Los Angeles Kings took a 3-1 win over the Edmonton Oilers on Tuesday.

Colin Fraser also had a goal while Jarret Stoll sealed the win with an empty- netter for the Kings, who have won three of their last four. Jonathan Quick posted 23 saves in the victory.

Sam Gagner had the lone goal of the game for the Oilers, who have dropped seven of their last nine games. Nikolai Khabibulin gave up two goals on 37 shots in the loss.
